Delegate Behavior and Conduct
(Please note for the purpose of this information delegate includes all registered attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, support staff and venue / supplier staff)
The purpose of this policy is to encourage and maintain a professional, respectful, and productive environment at the conference by setting boundaries regarding personal interaction between all conference delegates. The Business Managers Victoria Conference is an extension of your workplace, (relevant Codes of Conduct apply) therefore your behaviour and contact with other delegates should be of a strictly professional nature. Inappropriate or overly personal interactions could potentially lead to conflicts of interest, complaints, reports of harassment, or perceptions of favouritism.
Business Managers Victoria is dedicated in providing a harassment-free conference experience for all delegates, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, culture, race, age or religion. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated,
Business Managers Victoria reserves the right to remove any delegates from the conference (and associated events) found to be in breach of this policy. No refunds will be provided and involvement in future events will be reviewed for you and/or your organisation.
Friendly, respectful networking and professional interaction between all delegates is encouraged.
Alcohol Consumption and Provisions
Business Managers Victoria encourages the responsible consumption of alcohol at all conference social functions. All venue / service staff are trained in the Responsible Serving of Alcohol and are obliged to ensure these laws are adhered to for the enjoyment and safety of everyone. This includes a legal requirement to refuse service of alcohol to any guest considered to be intoxicated. Business Managers Victoria will strongly support the venues in this regard. To ensure compliance with liquor licence regulations, delegates may not bring any form of alcoholic beverage into the conference or associated events.
Any delegates considered to be intoxicated or in breach of this policy will be removed from the conference without refund. Any inappropriate behaviour resulting from alcohol consumption, such as harassment, disruptive behaviour, or unprofessional interactions, will not be tolerated and involvement in future events will be reviewed for you and/or your organisation.

Disclaimer
The Conference Manager and BMV will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons for loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the conference, exhibition or related events. The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, acts or regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
Privacy Statement
Information gathered from registration and other conference forms will be used to administer the conference, including accommodation, catering and sponsorship. Data obtained will remain the property of BMV and The Conference Manager.
Intention to photograph and record
